Nicosia: Revenue from tourism reached 458.6 million euro in October 2025, marking an increase of 12.4% compared to the same month in the previous year, which recorded 407.9 million euro.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus reported that the results of the Passengers Survey for January through October 2025 show tourism revenue at 3,431.4 million euro. This figure represents a 15.0% increase from the 2,983.8 million euro recorded in the same period in 2024.
The data also indicates a decline in average expenditure per tourist, with each person spending 852.80 euro on average in October 2025, compared to 888.47 euro in October 2024, which is a decrease of 4.0%.
The report highlights that tourists from the United Kingdom, the largest market representing 31.4% of total tourists in October 2025, spent on average 108.42 euro per day. Meanwhile, tourists from Israel, the second-largest market with 11.1% of total tourists, spent an average of 132.12 euro per day. German tourists, making up the third-largest market with 7.8%, had an average daily expenditure of 111.79 euro.
