Nicosia: The Republic of Cyprus and India are set to sign a Joint Declaration of Partnership on Monday, coinciding with the visit of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the island.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Joint Declaration will define the overall strategic relationship between the Republic of Cyprus and India, marking what is described as a ‘historic and substantial development.’
The agreement is seen as a ‘decisive step’ towards deepening bilateral relations, with both nations acknowledging the strategic importance they hold for each other. This partnership aims to establish an institutional framework for systematic cooperation, as highlighted by the same source.
