Cyprus Police booked two businesses and 12 individuals during the past 24 hours for violations of the measures against the further spread of COVID-19. In total, 2,196 checks were carried out in all districts.
A Police spokesperson told CNA on Monday that most fines concern non-use of mask by individuals while the businesses were booked after employees were found to work without a SafePass.
