Downward trend in COVID-19 cases slightly halted, National Surveillance Report shows

Information provided by the National Surveillance Report until 1st of February and released by the Ministry of Health on Friday show that the downward trend that was underway in the daily COVID-19 cases was slightly halted, which shows that it is in line with the increase in the weekly positivity rate.

The highest value of the cumulative incidence of 14 days is found in the 0-9 and 10-19 age groups which may reflect to some extent the increased laboratory testing in these groups, compared to others.
