Cyprus Health Ministry on Thursday announced 3,078 new COVID cases and 222 hospitalizations. Total deaths are 736 and cases rose to 265,945. The Ministry said that 222 patients are in hospitals and 69 are in serious condition. Figures show that 74.78% of the patients are unvaccinated. The positivity rate stands at 2.67%.
The Ministry announced that 19 post-COVID patients who are no longer infectious, are intubated in serious condition in an ICU.
Today a total of 115,470 tests were carried out.
No deaths were announced on Thursday. Of the 736 deaths, 460 are male (62.5%), and 276 female (37.5%) and the median age is 76.3 years.
Of the 69 patients in serious condition 30 are intubated, 5 are in an ICU and 34 and in an ACU.
