Turkish stock exchange up at Tuesday’s open

ANKARA: Trkiye's benchmark stock index opened Tuesday at 10,282.75 points, up 0.15%, or 15.66 points, from the previous close. On Monday, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 0.10% and closed at 10,267.09 points with a daily trading volume of 49 billion liras ($1.53 billion). The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate was 32.2655 as of 10.08 a.m. local time (0708GMT), the euro/lira exchange rate stood at 34.7643, and a British pound traded for 40.4675 liras. Brent crude oil was selling for around $83.39 per barrel, while the price of an ounce of gold was $2,327.85. Source: Anadolu Agency
