Three patients treated in Tel Aviv are well, Health Ministry official tells CNA

Three patients from Cyprus who are being treated in hospitals in Israel, with financial support from the Health Ministry, are in good health, the Ministry’s permanent secretary, Dr Christina Yiannaki, told CNA. She noted that the Ministry would be in constant communication with the patients and was ‘fully prepared’ to deal with any issue that may arise.

According to Yiannaki, currently, three patients who are subsidised by the Health Ministry are at the Sheba Medical Center, in Tel Aviv, while a fourth patient returned safely to Cyprus on Sunday.

She said that she contacted the Sheba hospital on Sunday and was informed about the health condition of all Cypriot patients.

According to Yiannaki, all patients wish to remain in Israel to continue their treatment.

She assured that the Health Ministry would be in constant communication with the patients and was fully prepared to deal with anything that may arise.
