Soccer: Milan continue perfect start with win at Roma

AC Milan continued their perfect start to the Serie A season when an early Olivier Giroud penalty and a strike by Rafael Leao at the beginning of the second half earned them a 2-1 win at AS Roma on Friday.

Milan had to play most of the second half in 10 men after defender Fikayo Tomori was sent off for a second yellow card.

Milan have nine points from three games.

Champions Napoli can join them at the top of the table if they beat Lazio, who have yet to secure a point this season, at home later on Saturday.

Inter will also be seeking to maintain a 100% record when they entertain Fiorentina on Sunday.

Belgium forward Romelu Lukaku came off the bench to make his debut for Roma after his loan move from Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho’s Roma, whose goal came in injury time from Leonardo Spinazzola, are third from bottom with one point.
