Reference Hospital’s capacity at 96%, health official tells CNA

The capacity of Famagusta General Hospital, which operates as the Reference Hospital for COVID-19, climbed at 96%, Amalia Hadjiyianni, Scientific Director of the Hospital, told the Cyprus News Agency, adding that 81% of the hospitalised patients has not been vaccinated.

The health official said that ‘’today 67 patients are being treated at Famagusta General Hospital, of whom 13 are in the Increased Care Unit.’’ The median age of patients is 63 years, while the youngest patient is 31 and the eldest 93.
