President holds separate telephone conversations with leaders of Jordan and Greece and former Israeli PM

Cyprus President Nicos Anastasiades has held separate telephone conversations with the leaders of Jordan and Greece and the former Prime Minister of Israel.

According to a written statement by Government Spokesman Marios Pelekanos, the President discussed with Jordan`s King Abdullah II about bilateral issues, regional cooperation and the forthcoming Cyprus-Greece-Jordan trilateral meeting to be held in Athens in the near future with the prospect of its enlargement, with the participation of other Arab states.

The President, Pelekanos says, also briefed Jordan`s King, who is in the United States,and will meet next week with US President Joe Biden, on the latest developments in the Cyprus issue and the ongoing Turkish illegal activities.
