The Cyprus Industrial Turnover Index rose by an annual 18% in November 2021, with industrial activity accelerating by 13.6% year on year in the period of January – November 2021, data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat) show.
According to Cystat, in November 2021 the index reached 157.4 units (base 2015=100).
In manufacturing, the Industrial Turnover Index for November 2021 reached 160.3 units, recording and increase of 14,1% compared to November 2020 and 11.5% for the period of January – November, Cystat added.
Electricity supply rose sharply in November 2021 recording an increase of 41.5% and by 19.4% in the period of January – November 2021. Industrial Turnover in water supply and materials recovery rose by 23.2% in November 2021 compared with November 2020 and by an annual 42% for the period of January – November 2021
