FIFA President, Gianni Infantino, congratulated Apollon Limassol FC for winning the Cyprus football championship in a letter he sent to the President of Cyprus Football Association, Georgios Koumas.
”It is with great pleasure that I congratulate Apollon Limassol FC for having been crowned 2021/22 champions of Cyprus,” the letter, which has been published in the CFA website, reads.
”Please extend my congratulations to everybody involved in this great achievement,” it is added.
”On behalf of the entire football community, I also take this opportunity to thank you and your Association for your contribution to the development and prosperity of football in Cyprus and in Europe,” the letter concludes.
