EP to discuss European Council outcome, Slovenian Presidency priorities, crackdown on opposition in Turkey

The European Parliament plenary, that meets in Strasbourg from Monday July 5th until Thursday July 8th, will assess with the European Council President, Charles Michel, and the European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, the outcome of the recent European Council and will discuss with the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Janez Janša, about the Slovenian Presidency’s priorities for the second half of 2021.

Moreover, they will discuss the Turkish government’s crackdown on the opposition, specifically the main pro-Kurdish party, as well as two EU funds to help member states manage migration flows, ease integration of third-country nationals and enhance border management.
