Defence Minister Charalambos Petrides will attend the military parade in Thessaloniki, Greece on Friday.
An official press release said that Petrides will visit Thessaloniki at the invitation of National Defence Minister Nikolas Panagiotopoulos and Governor of the region of Central Macedonia, Apostolos Tzitzikosta.
He will represent the Republic of Cyprus at the grand military parade for Oxi Day on Thursday, 28 October, which commemorates Greece`s refusal to capitulate to the Axis forces in 1940 and its victory against Italy on the Albanian front.
