Defence Minister Vasilis Palmas, and French Ambassador to Cyprus, Salina Grenet-Catalano, discussed on Wednesday the cooperation between France and Cyprus and the European Union’s initiatives in the field of defence.
According to a post by the Embassy of France in Cyprus on platform “X”, Palmas was invited for a visit on board the French frigate “Courbet” which has docked in the port of Larnaca.
During the visit, there was a very fruitful exchange of views on the cooperation between France and Cyprus and on the defence initiatives of the European Union, the French Embassy said.
“Our countries are major partners in strategic regional and international issues “, it noted.
