Defence Minister Charalampos Petrides said that Cyprus sends messages of peace and stability for the region, based on international law. At the same time he hailed the recent defence deal between Greece and France.
Speaking to the press following the military parade for Cyprus` Independence Day on Friday, the Minister said that the wound the Turkish invasion caused on the island is still open as the invader is still here reminding us that the struggle is still ongoing.
