Cyprus participated in joint operational activities at European level to combat human trafficking and labour exploitation that were coordinated by Europol, which took place between May 31 and June 6.
According to a Cyprus police press release one operation was conducted in Cyprus during, which one individual was arrested and eight possible victims of human trafficking were identified. The case has been filed in Nicosia District Court.
