Cyprus doubles its gold medal tally in Malta Invitational Games

Cyprus doubled its gold medal tally in the second day of the “Malta Invitational Games”, garnering ten gold medals, in silver and bronze by the games’ second day.

 

According to a press release issued by the Cyprus Olympic Committee, all Cyprus’ Tae Kwon Do athletes secured gold medals in their respective categories.

 

Following the first day’s five gold medals, today Kyriacos Iouannou (58 kg), Christos Achilleos (80 kg), Kyriaki Koutouki (49 kg) and Markella Teggeri (57 kg) secured top honours.

 

In Biathlon, Panagiots Antoniou and Andreas Doulapas secured the gold and silver medal respectively.

 

In Bowling 17-year old Nicolas Christofi secured the bronze medal
