ISTANBUL: Trkiye’s benchmark stock index was up by 0.3% to 8,834.01 points at the opening session on Wednesday.
The index has lost 2.46% to 8.807.38 points at Tuesday’s close with a daily transaction volume of 96.8 billion Turkish liras ($3 billion).
The USD/TRY exchange rate was 32.2310 as of 10.30 am (0730GMT), the EUR/TRY rate stood at 35.0860, and the GBP/TRY traded at 40.6970.
The price of one ounce of gold was $2,179.40, while the barrel price of Brent oil was around $85.45.
