The three leaders of the Cyta Football League APOEL, AEK and Omonia achieved great away victories during the Match Day 7 of the second phase, and therefore maintained the difference between them as well as the suspense in the battle for the title.
APOEL achieved a great away victory over Paphos with 2-0, AEK beat Aris with 1-0 at Alphamega Stadium in Limassol and remained just one point behind APOEL, while Omonia beat Anorthosis with 2-0 at Antonis Papadopoulos and remained three points behind AEK and four behind APOEL.
