Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for high temperatures expected in inland areas on Wednesday afternoon. Maximum temperatures are anticipated to reach around 40 degrees Celsius in certain areas.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the warning will be in effect from 13:30 to 16:00 local time on Wednesday. Residents in the affected regions are advised to take necessary precautions and remain hydrated during this period of extreme heat.
