Cyprus Experiences Extreme Weather with High Temperatures

Nicosia: Cyprus is currently experiencing high temperatures, with several regions recording significant heat levels. The weather report highlights that the highest temperature was recorded in Nicosia (Athalassa) at 41°C, while the lowest was in Prodromos at 21°C.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology reported varying humidity levels across different regions. Larnaka Airport registered a high humidity level of 70% at 1200 UTC, while Prodromos experienced the lowest humidity at 24%. Other areas like Limassol and Pafos Airport recorded temperatures of 32°C, both with humidity levels of 64% and 70% respectively. Frenaros and Polis Pafos noted temperatures of 34°C, with humidity levels of 66% and 58%.

The Department of Meteorology has been closely monitoring these conditions, providing updates to ensure public awareness and safety. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions during this period of elevated temperatures.
