Nicosia: The Meteorology Department has issued a yellow warning for extreme maximum temperature for Monday. The warning is expected to be in effect between 1330 and 1600.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the inland maximum temperature is anticipated to rise to around 40 degrees Celsius. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during this period of high temperatures.
