Cyprus Experiences Scorching Temperatures Across Major Cities

Nicosia: Cyprus is experiencing high temperatures as reported by the Department of Meteorology. The weather conditions have seen temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius in several regions, with Nicosia recording the highest temperature at 40 degrees Celsius.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the lowest temperature was recorded in Prodromos at 19 degrees Celsius. The humidity levels varied significantly across the island, with Pafos Airport experiencing the highest humidity at 71% at 1200 UTC, while Prodromos recorded the lowest at 44%.

Larnaka Airport reported a temperature of 34 degrees Celsius with a relatively high humidity of 67%. In Limassol, temperatures reached 32 degrees Celsius with a humidity level of 65%. Frenaros saw temperatures rise to 35 degrees Celsius with a humidity of 65%, indicating a hot and humid day for its residents.

Polis Pafos also experienced warm weather, with temperatures hitting 33 degrees Celsius and a humidity level of 67%. The consistent high temperatures across these locations highlight the ongoing heat experienced by Cyprus during this period.
