A woman's body was found in the lobby of a Rome building Monday with signs of stab wounds on the abdomen, local sources said.
The body of the 52-year-old nurse,was found in the hallway with "knife marks" on the abdomen, they said.
The body was in a building in Via Giuseppe Allievo in the Trionfale-Primavalle area, in the northeastern sector of the Italian capital.
The incident is being investigated by the local flying squad.
Italy has seen a wave of femicides and rape recently. (ANSA).
