Weak High Pressure Influences Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting conditions over the next 24 hours that reflect the impact of weak high pressure. The forecast covers an 8-kilometer stretch seawards and highlights that the weather will be partly cloudy with a potential for isolated showers in the afternoon.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast's issuance was recorded at 1021 hPa. Visibility in the area is expected to be generally good, though it may become moderate at times due to weather conditions. The sea surface temperature has been measured at 18°C.

The forecast indicates that no warnings are in place for the specified period, suggesting stable weather conditions are anticipated despite the possibility of some afternoon showers. The Cyprus Department of Meteorology uses the Beaufort scale to measure winds, and all reported times are local.
