Larnaca: The ongoing situation in the Middle East has led to the cancellation of numerous flights at Larnaca Airport, affecting travelers and disrupting schedules.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Hermes Airports, which manages Cyprus' airports, reported that 24 arrivals were cancelled at Larnaca Airport between 5:30 and 25:05 on Wednesday. Additionally, there were 24 departures cancelled between 5:30 and 23:20 on the same day.
Since Monday, flight cancellations have involved European countries such as Germany, the UK, and Austria. Major airlines, including British Airways, Lufthansa, EasyJet, and Austrian Airlines, have suspended their flight schedules to and from Cyprus.
Passengers with scheduled trips are advised to contact their airline or travel agent before heading to the airport.
