The Meteorology Department has issued a new thunderstorm warning with a yellow level awareness, valid from 19:00 am on Monday until 18:00 am on Tuesday.
The warning said that isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect the area with precipitation rate expected to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour.
Storm hail is also likely to fall while winds may be variable strengthening.
