Police have fined 24 people and three establishment owners for violations of COVID-19 measures, during 2, 822 checks in the last 24 hours.
A Police spokesperson told CNA that in Nicosia after 1,093 checks two citizens were fined, while from 246 checks in Limassol, 7 people and one establisment owner were handed out fines. In Larnaca four people were reported after 565 checks, in Paphos three individuals and two business after 205 checks, in Famagusta after 383 checks six people were fined, while in Morphou following 170 checks, two people were fined.
No reports were handed out during 144 and 16 checks carried out by the the Traffic Department and the Marine & Port Police, respectively.
