First annual “Stella Soulioti” Human Rights Awards were presented Friday to Hope For Children (HFC) and Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family (SPAVO) during a ceremony that took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of the Human Rights Day.
The finalists among the candidates were SPAVO, HFC, Caritas and Patricia Fedonos.
Stella Soulioti was the first female lawyer in Cyprus, the first female to be appointed Minister and the first female Attorney General.
