Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of Serbia, Nebojša Stefanovic, expressed determination for the improvement of the cooperation of his country with the Republic of Cyprus in the defence field and especally in the military-economic sector, during a meeting he had in Serbia with Cyprus Defence Ministry Permanent Secretary, Andreas Louca.
A press release issued by the Defence Ministry said that the meeting took place in the framework of Louca`s visit to “Partner 2021” International fair of armaments and defence equipment taking place in Serbia.
During the meeting the two sides confirmed the traditionally good relations between Cyprus and Serbia, as well as the importance of mutual support for the protection of the sovereignty and the respect of the international law.
