The weather is expected to remain mainly fine, although there will be periods of locally increased cloud coverage. Visibility in the area is reported to be good, and the sea surface temperature is recorded at 28°C. There are no warnings issued for the period.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast details the wind patterns and the state of the sea across various coasts of Cyprus. On the west coast, the wind will shift from north to northeast at night to northeast to east in the morning and then east to southeast by the afternoon. The sea state in this area is expected to be slight, with offshore conditions ranging from slight to moderate.
The south coast will experience northwest to northeast winds at night, changing to north to northeast by morning, and then northeast to east in the afternoon. The sea conditions here will be slight, with the possibility of slight to moderate offshore conditions as the day progresses.
On the east coast, the wind will predominantly come from the north to northeast, maintaining a moderate sea state throughout the day and night. Similarly, the north coast will see north to northeast winds with a slight to moderate sea state, and local variations reaching moderate levels.
These conditions are expected to persist for the period from 1800 on September 19, 2025, to 1800 on September 20, 2025, as stated in the forecast issued by the Cyprus Department of Meteorology.
