Nicosia: The government will continue implementing reforms, because only in this way the country will truly change, Government Spokesperson Konstantinos Letymbiotis said on Friday in a post on X.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Letymbiotis noted that a reform programme focuses on modernising the state and improving the daily lives of citizens. “It is the essence of political action, where decisions are transformed into tangible results for the society,” he added.
He further mentioned that every reform is an investment in the future, “a step towards making our country more modern, more functional, and closer to the needs of its citizens.”
“We know that change is never easy,” he noted, adding that it requires hard work and determination to break decades-old barriers. “But that is precisely where the real meaning of politics lies: in the courage to move forward, even when you know that the challenges will be many,” he added.
“Nikos Christodoulides’ government has made it clear that reforms are not words but deeds. And we will continue on this path, because only in this way will our country truly change, become fairer, more reliable, and closer to what its citizens deserve and demand,” the Government Spokesperson concluded.
