Seasonal Low Pressure Brings Mist to Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating a period of seasonal low pressure that is expected to influence weather conditions. During the period from 0600 on June 24, 2026, until 0600 on June 25, 2026, low clouds are anticipated intermittently, with a risk of local mist forming overnight and at dawn.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1007 hectopascals. Visibility is generally expected to be good; however, it may reduce to moderate or poor levels in areas affected by mist. The sea surface temperature is currently at 25°C.

No specific warnings have been issued for this period, suggesting conditions are not expected to pose significant risks to maritime activities.
