Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that seasonal low pressure is currently affecting the region. This weather pattern is expected to bring mainly fine conditions during the evening, with areas of locally increased low cloud coverage.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicts that tonight and tomorrow morning will see an increase in low cloud coverage accompanied by fog patches. Visibility is expected to be good overall, but could become moderate to poor in areas affected by mist. The sea surface temperature is currently recorded at 25°C, and no warnings have been issued for the forecast period. Atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast release was noted at 1008hPa.
