Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the period from midday on September 6, 2025, to midday on September 7, 2025. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, indicates that a seasonal low-pressure system is influencing the region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast highlights that while the weather will generally be fine, there will be locally increased cloud coverage, particularly over the western and northern coasts of Cyprus. Additionally, there is a risk of local mist around dawn, primarily affecting the southeastern coastal areas, which could lead to moderate to poor visibility.
The sea surface temperature is reported at 28°C, and the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was 1010 hPa. Despite the presence of low pressure, no weather warnings have been issued for the area during the forecast period.
