Prolonged rain and local heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect Cyprus on Wednesday, the Meteorology Department has said.
It has issued a yellow warning valid from 0600 to 2200 hours local time.
“Prolonged rain and local heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect the area at times,” it says.
The total precipitation, it adds, “is likely to exceed 55 millimetres per 24 hours.”
