Nicosia: Cyprus President, Nikos Christodoulides, announced the operation of the updated ‘Minds in Cyprus’ electronic platform, which aims to serve as a bridge with Cypriots living and working abroad.
According to Cyprus News Agency, President Christodoulides conveyed through social media that the initiative was first introduced in May as a strategic government choice to connect with Cypriots overseas. The platform, www.mindsincyprus.com, is now operational and seeks to fortify this connection.
The platform provides access to the Ministry of Labour’s ‘Opportunities for Talent’, where users can find available job positions in Cyprus, register, and receive tailored information that aligns with their professional profiles. Additionally, the platform features an Information Hub with resources for those considering repatriation.
President Christodoulides emphasized that the repatriation and reintegration of Cypriot talent are crucial to the nation’s development plans. He encouraged Cypriots worldwide to contribute to Cyprus’s growth, whether by returning home or from abroad, highlighting their contributions’ significance.
In his message, the President extended an invitation to Cypriots to join in transforming the country, emphasizing their role as leading players in this change.
