Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather with some local cloud coverage. However, during the night and early morning hours, increased low cloud coverage along with mist or fog is expected in certain areas.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast, which covers an 8-kilometer area seawards, indicates that the atmospheric pressure at the time of issuance is 1006 hPa. The region is currently under the influence of seasonal low pressure, which is contributing to the anticipated weather conditions.
Visibility in the area is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor in mist, and very poor in fog. Despite these conditions, the sea surface temperature remains at a warm 29°C, and no warnings have been issued.
