President of Cyprus Nicos Anastasiades has congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu on his electoral victory in Israel, saying that he looks forward to working closely together, as in the past, for the further deepening of bilateral relations.
In addition, the President wrote on his twitter account that he looks forward to working together for promoting peace in the region.
Meanwhile, Israeli Ambassador in Cyprus Oren Anolik wrote on his twitter account that Israel is looking forward to welcoming President Anastasiades next week.
“Looking forward to welcoming you to #Israel next week, Mr President!” he wrote in Greek and English.
