The Embassy of the State of Palestine to the Republic of Cyprus has declared national mourning for a period of three days, following the deadly strike in the Baptist Hospital in Gaza. The national mourning begins on the 18th of October 2023 until the 20th of October 2023. In a press release, it says that “the Embassy declared national mourning for a period of three days, starting from the 18th of October 2023 until the 20th of October 2023, in memory of the innocent Palestinian civilians, most of whom were children, who were murdered in cold blood in the Baptist Hospital (Ahli Arabi Hospital) in Gaza City after the bombardments by the Apartheid State of Israel”. A book of condolences will be opened at the Embassy of the State of Palestine on Thursday 19th of October 2023 and Friday 20th of October 2023 from 9:30 until 13:30, it adds.
