A delegation by the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) paid Cyprus a visit between 16-18 of August, in the framework of the Confidence Building Measures and Security provided by the Vienna Document of 2011.
According to a press release by the National Guard General Staff, the delegation, comprising Russian officers, visited National Guard facilities. The inspection, it is added, reaffirmed the excellent cooperation with the OSCE, as well as the compliance of the Republic of Cyprus, as a member state, with all obligations, which include ia the timely provision of information and active participation in military activities, seminars and conferences.
