Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology has issued a new yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures, specifically for Tuesday. The warning is set to be in effect from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM, with temperatures expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius inland.
According to Cyprus News Agency, last week saw high temperatures impacting the island, only for a significant drop to occur over the weekend. However, as of tomorrow, temperatures are anticipated to rise once more, posing challenges for both locals and visitors alike.
