The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that 148 COVID 19 patients are receiving treatment in state hospitals, 47 of whom in a serious condition.
Moreover, 135 new coronavirus cases were detected out of 44,312 tests, (positivity rate stands at 0.30%). Since the outbreak of the pandemic there have been 71,533 coronavirus infections in Cyprus.
No deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours and their number remains at 348, (231 men or 66% and 117 women, or 34%). Their median age is 77,5.
Out of the 47 patients who are in hospitals, 29 are intubated. In the Famagusta General Hospital there are 29 patients, 59 are in the Nicosia General Hospital, 38 in the Limassol General Hospital, while 9 are receiving treatment in the Larnaka General Hospital, 11 in the Pafos General Hospital and 2 are in the Makario Hospital in Nicosia.
