Cyprus Meteorology Department issued an orange warning for extreme low temperature.
It comes into force at 22.00 tonight until 7.00 Thursday morning (Cyprus time).
The minimum temperature over Troodos area is expected to fall at around minus 10 degree Celsius.
Citizens are advised to be prepared because low temperatures might lead to health risks amongst vulnerable groups i.e. the elderly, very young and homeless. They are advised to listen to and act upon advice from the authorities.
