King of Jordan state visit to Cyprus aims at further deepening relations between the two countries

The state visit which the King of Jordan Abdallah II will pay to Cyprus on Friday aims at further deepening the relations between Cyprus and Jordan. During the visit two agreements and one memorandum will be signed between the two countries.

The agreements to be signed concern double taxation avoidance and the extradition of fugitives. Moreover a memorandum will be signed between the Foreign Ministries of Cyprus and Jordan for cooperation among the two countries. The agreements and the memorandum on behalf of the Republic of Cyprus will be signed by Finance Minister, Constantinos Petrides, Justice and Public Orden Minister, Stefi Drakou, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Christodoulides.
