Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that weak low pressure is currently influencing the sea area of Cyprus. This condition is expected to bring locally increased cloud coverage, with isolated rain showers likely over the northern and eastern coastal regions.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast covers a period from 0600 on October 1, 2025, until 0600 on October 2, 2025, with the sea area extending 8 kilometers seawards. The winds in the area are measured on the Beaufort scale, and atmospheric pressure is recorded at 1011 hPa. Despite the likelihood of rain, visibility is generally good but may reduce to moderate during showers.
Sea surface temperatures remain warm at 27°C, and there are no warnings in effect for the area during this period.
