The Index of Industrial Output Prices marked an increase by an annual 11.5% in September 2021 but remained relatively steady compared with August 2021, according to data released by the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat).
The Index reached 110.5 units (base 2015=100), recording an increase of 0.5% compared to August 2021.
Compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, the index recorded an increase of 11.5%.
For the period January-September 2021, the index showed an increase of 4.5% compared to the corresponding period of 2020, Cystat said.
Compared to August 2021, the index remained stable in the sector of mining and quarrying, while it showed a rise in the sectors of water supply and materials recovery by 2.4%, manufacturing by 0.4% and electricity supply also by 0.4%.
