House President notes France’s principles stance for a Cyprus settlement

House President Annita Demetriou received on Wednesday Jean François Mbaye, a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the French National Assembly and expressed her sincere gratitude for the principled position of France vis-à-vis the Cyprus problem and the efforts for a settlement, on the basis of international law, UN resolutions and EU principles.

With Mbaye, who was accompanied by the French Ambassador to Cyprus, Salina-Grenet Catalano, they also discussed climate change and environmental protection, according to an announcement by the House of Representatives.
