As part of the Summer Training Program (STP) of the Hellenic Naval Academy, the SPETSAI frigate and the PROMITHEUS auxiliary ship docked from August 26 to 29, at Limassol port, in order for the students to conduct a program of educational activities in Cyprus.
Cyprus' Ministry of Defence stated in a press release that on Monday, August 28, the Chief of the National Guard, Lieutenant General Dimokritos Zervakis, received at the Headquarters of the National Guard General Staff, the Commander Rear Admiral Christos Sasiakos HN and the Governors of the two ships.
During the meeting, the Chief, after being informed about the program and activities included in the STP, congratulated and thanked the Management of the Academy, for the excellent educational work it carries out regarding the professional training of the future Officers of the Hellenic and Cypriot Navy.
On Tuesday, August 29, with the sailing of the two ships, an aeronautical exercise was carried out under the name "PN/DN - 03/2023", which was co-organized by the Navy Administration, in collaboration with the Hellenic Navy.
